About Me

My name is Carl Heinrich Hancke. I've been developing Line of Business software on the Microsoft.NET platform for over 7 years. During this time, I've touched on many systems, mostly intranet web-based applications. These range from invoicing control systems that integrate with Sage Pastel, to custom ERP systems for packaging companies. I've also recently been involved in development of apps for the SharePoint Online platform.

Apart from my dealings with development, I'm also an avid gamer, enjoying a wide range of genres (except RTS, which I suck at). I'm also very fond of reading, preferring fantasy novels, but any fiction would do. I even play Magic The Gathering on and off...

In short, I'm an all-round geek. If it's nerdy, I'll probably like it.

And this here is my blog, where I aim to jot down scenarios I come across in my development. I hope it will serve as both a diary for myself, as well as help others, who might run into the same problems or require the same implementation as me. Any and all feedback is appreciated.

PS: As the blog is very new, I will in all likelihood be making changes on a regular basis. Please feel free to let me know what you like, don't like, what I can do to improve it. Anything.
